This is a selection of spreads, scanned in from my sketchbooks on a month long journey I took through France in January-February 2007. While there I studied art history, painting, printmaking and the French culture. Inspired by the history of places I visited, the architecture and culture, not to mention the vast amounts of amazing art that is located in collections there, I collected imagery in my sketchbooks to later use as source material for paintings and prints as well as design directions.
